PH435: Electronics Lab IV (Microprocessor) (2019-20)

Course Name: Electronics Lab IV

Course Code: PH435

Credits: 5

Course Instructor: Prof. Pradeep Sarin

Course Type: Core (Lab)

Prerequisite: All the previous electronics lab courses (PH231, PH233, PH230)

Course Content: Introduction to Arduino, FSM Interrupts, PID Control

Assignments: Five lab sessions pre-midsem and one group project post-midsem. Each lab session was graded. The lab difficulty ranged form moderate to hard. Students were allowed to form their own groups of two members and choose their own arduino based project.

Exams: There was no midsem exam for the lab. The grading was distributed among lab sessions, the endsem exam and the project.

Personal Comments: The required study material is provided by the professor, which is self-sufficient. A good understanding of how instructions are coded in arduino, along with some basic analog designs form previous lab courses is helpful.

Respondent: Nitish Ujjwal
